Day 1: Today, we will start exploring Istanbul. We will visit Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Place and Hagia Sophia. Afternoon, we will have a boat ride on Bosporus to and view palaces, mansions and houses. Dinner and overnight in Askoc Hotel or similar in Istanbul.
Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul
Day 2: Today, we will start exploring Istanbul. We will visit Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Place and Hagia Sophia. Afternoon, we will have a boat ride on Bosporus to and view palaces, mansions and houses. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3: Transfer to the airport to take a short flight to Cappadocia. Arrival in Cappadocia and meeting at the airport. Tour of Cappadocia including Goreme fairy chimneys, Guvercinlik, Cavusin, Kaymaklı undergroun city. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Morning optional balloon ride. Later morning, we will continue our tour in Cappadocia visiting Goreme Open Air Museum, Love Valley and Cavusin. Late afternoon, we will have an optional jeep safari ride. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5: Transfer to the airport to take our short flight to Izmir. Upon arrival in Izmir, we will be transferred to Ephesus are to visit Ephesus, Mary’s House and Basilica of John. Ephesus was a great port city during Roman period. Paul spend many years in Ephesus as well as John. It is said to be one of the best preserved ancient sites. We will make an in depth visit in Ephesus and the ancient places in vicinity and later, we will check-in to our hotel in Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6: Morning drive to Pamukkale. En route we will visit ruins of Aphrodisias. Aphrodisias was a great city famous for Aphrodite festival and cult. There was a great school of sculpture which catered artists traveling for doing their sculpture in Rome and other Roman cities. We will visit the ancient site which includes Sebastion, Theatre, Roman baths, stadium an many more. Afterwards we will visit the museum where important findings in the excavations are displayed. We will have our lunch close to Aphrodisias and will continue our way to Pamukale. We will check into our hotel in Pamukkale and will have free time to enjoy facilities such as the swimming pool and thermal bath in our hotel. We will have our dinner and overnight in Pamukkale and we will ready for the next day.
Day 7: Today, we will explore Pamukkale, Hieropolis and Laodecia. Our day will start with exploring Hieropolis. We will see the necropolis and will continue to Roman Gate, Roman Road, Byzantine gate. After exploring Hieropolis, we will have some free time in the travertines of Pamukkale either for walking on the travertines or enjoying the beautiful view and taking photos. We will have our local lunch in the town of Pamukkale and will head to see Laodecia. Laodecia is one of the 7 churches mentioned in the book of Revelation and has a well preserved, recently excavated ancient site. At the end of our day, we will return back to our hotel in Pamukkale for our dinner and overnight.
Day 8: We will depart from our hotel take our way to Antalya which is located on the Mediterranean shore of Turkey. Upon arrival in Antalya, we will visit Perge and Aspendos and will check into our hotel. In the evening, we will wander around the cast area to see more of the city. We will have our dinner and overnight in our hotel in Antalya.
Day 9: Morning transfer to the airport to take our short flight to Istanbul. As we will arrive in Istanbul airport, we will be transferred to the historical area. We will have free time in Grand Bazaar and Spice Market to take our last souvenirs or taking our last photos. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul
Day 10: Transfer to the airport for flight to Athens. We will say goodbye to Turkey with good memories and will arrive in the Greek capital after a short flight. We will be greeted by our guide and driver in Athens. We will have a city sightseeing tour and will visit Acropolis, Mars Hill and the new Acropolis Museum. After our visits in these wonderful places, we will check into our hotel in Athens for our dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Today we will drive to Corinth. We will have a rest stop on the Corinth Canal and will be able to walk on the bridge to take some photos. Later we will drive to the ancient site and will visit the ancient site of Corinth. Highlights include the Corinth Temple, Bema and the museum. We will have our local lunch close to Corinth. We will head to Mycenae. After our interesting visit in Mycenae, we will head back to Athens. We will have our farewell dinner and overnight at our hotel in Athens.
Day 12: Transfer to Athens airport for flight back home
